CSRD

Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive

All citizens who live and work within the European Union should know that the Union is particularly concerned about the environment, human rights and equality.
This is encoded in the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) - it is important to learn about it and consider it in your ongoing operations because it will affect the way you do business.

Many organizations have policies specifically designed to cover the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) factors, which are directly connected to the overall business sustainability strategy, as well as any environmental and societal implications..
With the introduction of the CSRD, the ESG reporting obligations have increased. What this means for you is that you will be responsible for providing a CSR (Corporate Sustainability Report) on an annual basis.

The European Commission has adopted legislation and measures on corporate sustainability and will begin requiring companies to provide annual reports. For the next two years, in addition to large organizations with more than 250 employees, high revenue and large budgets, the directive's requirements are expected to impact medium and small-sized companies as well. This is an important step because it will provide public information for stakeholders, outline new business corridors and improve transparency.
